Materials used in new-energy batteries include superconducting materials, solar-cell materials, hydrogen-storage materials, magnetic materials, and nanomaterials. Precautions for using batteries in new-energy vehicles: 1. During routine car washing, avoid impacts to and water ingress into the power battery pack to prevent compromising the battery’s service life;
2. During charging, pay attention to the ambient temperature and ensure adequate ventilation to prevent heat dissipation difficulties.
3. When the driver detects low battery level via the instrument panel, charging should be performed promptly to prevent undercharging of the power battery, which could impair its performance and even shorten its service life.
4. If the battery overheating warning is triggered during driving, stop the vehicle to allow the battery to cool down. Resume driving only after the overheating warning light has gone off.
